A beautiful art-deco example of a mid-1930’s GM/Frigidaire refrigerator. The box is in absolutely beautiful restored condition and operates like new; included in the restoration was a new compressor (with r-134 refill valve), and the box was completely disassembled, treated with rust convertor, primed, and repainted with a single-stage automotive urethane paint. A new seal was installed on the door, and all hardware was mechanically and hand polished. A new main power cord was added and the coolant lines were tested for leaks. The pics tell the story and the most unique aspect of the box is the design on the front; I’ve been told it is an ‘Empire architecture’ design after the Empire State building…..
